About Us

The South Shore Classics Hockey League (SSCHL) is a men’s hockey league built by players, for players. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and competitive environment where hockey enthusiasts of all skill levels can enjoy the game, build connections, and be part of a thriving community.

Masters Division

With eight teams comprised of A and B-level players, the Masters Division represents the highest level of competition within SSCHL.

Classics Division

The Classics Division features eight teams made up of C and D-level players, offering balanced, competitive hockey with a strong social component.

Federals Division

The Federals Division consists of four teams designed for players who prefer a slower, more recreational pace while still enjoying structured gameplay and competition.

Summer Shift Draft League (New!)

Summer Shift is SSCHL’s official summer draft program, played Sunday nights on prime ice at Lovell Arena in Rockland, MA. Featuring two skill-based divisions — Offshore (higher skill) and Bayside (medium skill) — the league uses a true draft format, unique jersey numbers, full GameSheet stats, and a mid-season Player Appreciation Night in the Bistro Bar.
